Prior to launching Soundview Sports 16 years ago, founder/director Steve Moynahan was President of Rye Little League and later Soundview Youth Lacrosse. Co-Founder/director Barry Perlow is also a Partner in ProSwing Baseball. Both are driven to maintain Soundview’s solid reputation for teaching sportsmanship and proper skills to young athletes. Both owners are onsite every day throughout the summer and clearly love what they do. |

Director of Coaches Vin Minotti joined Soundview Sports as Head Basketball Coach in 2000. He was named Director of Head Coaches in 2004. Vin is currently the head Men’s Basketball Coach at Rye Country Day and entering his fifth season at the helm. Last season, under Minotti leadership the Wildcats won the school’s first ever New York State Basketball Championship. Prior to his current tenure at Rye Country Day, Minotti was the Head Basketball Coach at Mamaroneck High School and held the same position at Darien High School in Connecticut. Minotti’s coaching career actual began at the birthplace of Basketball, in Springfield MA. Minotti was the graduate assistant coach at Springfield College where he was in charge of player development and recruiting. Vin was a three sport varsity athlete at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York and was the Captain of both the baseball and basketball teams. He was selected All League and All Section in both sports. Minotti currently teaches Health Education for the Mamaroneck Public schools and lives in Bedford with his wife and two children. |

Camp Director Mark McAndrews joined the Soundview Sports team in 1996 as a counselor. Mark moved up to Head Coach and Assistant Director. He was named Director in 2004. Mark teaches Elementary Physical Education at the King School in Stamford, CT. He is the Assistant Head Coach of the varsity football team and the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach. During his tenure at King, Mark has coached several athletes, who became Division I players in college. Mark was awarded the WNESSLA Assistant Coach of the Year award back to back in 2006 and 2007. After his third year of running the program, Mark received the WNESSLA Head Coach of the Year award for DII in 2010. Mark was a three sport athlete at Rye high School. He was a Captain on Rye first Section 1 Lacrosse championship team in 1996. Mark holds a degree in Physical Education and Minor in Athletic Coaching from Springfield College. Mark played Lacrosse and Rugby while at Springfield. Mark resides in Stamford, CT with his wife and son. |
