Our Story

S

oundview Sports has built a reputation for excellence in youth sports in Westchester and Fairfield County over the last 2 decades by teaching sportsmanship and proper skills to thousands of young athletes. Thousands of boys and girls have had the opportunity to learn from the best coaches available–coaches who are not only successful at the high school and college level but also know how to communicate with and motivate young athletes of all ability levels. Kids between the ages of 6 and 14 are provided with basic to advanced skills building programs in team and individual sports. All programs are designed to build confidence through success.

Founder and Director Steve Moynahan attributes the success of Soundview to a simple formula:

“Find the smartest, most creative, and caring coaches in each sport, back them up with a solid organization and most importantly, make sure that each and every boy and girl has a successful Soundview experience and a lot of fun!”

Co-Founder and Partner Barry Perlow adds,

“There is nothing more rewarding than being a part of a program that builds kids self-esteem. At Soundview there are literally no opportunities to fail.”

All coaches and teachers are specialists in their particular sport, thus elevating the level of instruction beyond that of a traditional day camp program. We even have very creative rainy-day programs to round out our unique program. We begin every day with instruction and reinforcement in fitness, nutrition and sportsmanship.

A Unique Sports Camp

S

oundview Sports provides a unique first-class sports program during the summer. More than just a day camp, Soundview Sports provides boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 with the opportunity to receive concentrated training in the sports they really love and to try some new sports for the first time. A curriculum of activities is tailored to your child’s particular needs and interests.
Your child’s activities may be varied from week to week so that throughout the course of the session campers can experience a “different camp” and have the opportunity to gain skills in a variety of sports. Including:

Baseball – Basketball – Field Hockey – Flag Football – Golf – Lacrosse – Soccer – Tennis – Volleyball
